Know where every box went, and where the money is.
A missing box, a delivery nobody paid for, a deposit that does not match: Sky The Chain finds the exact link where it happened, and names the box, the rep and the record.
For distributors whose reps carry stock, visit customers and collect payments.

Between the warehouse door and the bank
A box leaves the warehouse in a rep's bag. The money for it comes back days or weeks later, through a visit, a collection and a bank deposit. In between, most distributors have a spreadsheet, a rep's memory and trust.
Sky The Chain puts a serial on that gap. Every box is somebody's until it is sold, every sale is unpaid until the deposit matches, and every time the chain does not close, the owner sees where.
One line from the factory to the bank
Every box carries a serial. Each time it changes hands, the chain gets a new link. When a link is missing, you see exactly where.
- FactoryThe dispatch file lists every serial that left.
- WarehouseBoxes are received and counted against that file.
- Rep's bagA box handed to a rep is theirs until it moves on.
- CustomerSales and returns are recorded at the visit.
- PaymentCollections are matched to the bank deposits.
What the owner sees in the morning
One list of breaks, newest first. Each one names the box, the person and the record, so the question to ask is already written.

What it catches
- Missing boxes
- A box that is in no bag and no warehouse is named, with the last person who had it.
- Unpaid deliveries
- A delivery with no matching payment shows up with how long it has waited.
- Visits far from the customer
- Every visit is stamped with a location. One recorded far from the customer's address stands out.
- Fuel off route
- Fuel card spending is compared with the car assigned that day and where it went.
- Deposits short of collections
- Bank deposits are checked against what reps say they collected, line by line.
Where it fits
Sky The Chain is built for one kind of business, found in many trades: a distributor that buys finished, boxed goods from a contract factory and sells them through reps who carry the stock, visit the customer and collect the payment. If that is how your business runs, this is what gets tracked.
- Water treatment equipment
- Each softener or filtration unit is tracked by serial from the factory to the home it went into, with the installation visit and the payment that closed it.
- Small appliances sold in the home
- Each boxed unit is tracked from the warehouse to the rep's car, through the demonstration, the sale or the return, to the collection.
- Automotive batteries and parts
- Each battery and boxed part is tracked by serial to the shop that took it, with the core return and the payment on the next visit.
- Cosmetics and personal care
- Each sealed carton is tracked from the contract manufacturer to the rep's bag to the counter it was sold at, and the collection against it.
- Nutritional supplements and wellness products
- Each sealed case is tracked by its label to the clinic, gym or store that received it, and the sale stays open until the bank deposit matches.
- Cleaning and janitorial supplies on a route
- Each case or drum is tracked to the customer's door, with the van assigned that day, the fuel bought on the route and the cash or check collected.
Sky The Chain is in pilot with its first distributor. The trades above are the ones the model was designed for, not a list of customers. If your trade is not here but passes the three tests, write to us.
How it works
- Files arrive by e-mail. Factory dispatches, bank statements and web orders go to your company's own address and are read automatically.
- Reps work as usual. The mobile app records visits, sales and returns, and keeps working without signal.
- You review the breaks. The dashboard lists every gap in the chain, and you approve any change it suggests.
What stays the same
Sky The Chain fits around how you already work. Nothing has to be replaced on day one.
- Your factory's file
- The dispatch file your factory already sends is the one Sky The Chain reads.
- Your bank's statement
- The statement your bank already e-mails is matched as it arrives.
- Your accounting
- Invoices and books stay where they are. Sky The Chain tracks custody and collections, not your ledger.
- Your reps' phones
- An Android phone and the app. No scanner, no printer in the van.
Made for three people
The owner
Sees every break across the business in the browser, approves corrections and decides who can see what.
The rep
Records visits, sales and returns on the phone, sees the stock in their bag and the car assigned to them. Works without signal.
The office
Stops retyping factory files and bank statements. They arrive by e-mail and land in the right place, ready to review in the browser.
The rep's phone, screen by screen
The rep app runs on an Android phone and keeps working without signal. Swipe through a rep's day.
Built to be trusted
- Nothing disappears
- Records are never edited or deleted. A correction is a new entry next to the original.
- Every change has a name
- Who did what, and when, is kept with the record itself.
- People see their own part
- Roles decide what each person can see and do. A rep sees their own bag, not the company's books.
- Suggestions wait for you
- When the system infers a change, it proposes it. Nothing is written until the owner approves.
- Locked sign-in
- Each person signs in with their phone number and a password the owner issues. Repeated wrong tries lock the account.
- Encrypted
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Any password we hold for an outside account is encrypted on its own and kept apart from the rest of your data.
Early access
Sky The Chain is running with its first distributor, and we set each new one up together: your factory's file, your bank's statement, your reps' phones.
What you get as an early customer: a direct line to the people building it, and a say in what gets built next. What we ask: honest feedback and real boxes.
Questions
What is Sky The Chain?
Sky The Chain is field sales traceability and audit software for distributors with sales reps. It tracks each box by serial from the factory to the customer and until the money is collected.
What problems does it find?
It flags missing boxes, deliveries with no payment, visits made far from the customer, fuel used off route and bank deposits that do not match what was collected. Each flag points to the serial, the rep and the record involved.
Does the rep app work offline?
Yes. Reps keep recording visits, sales and returns without signal, and the app syncs when the connection returns.
How does data get into Sky The Chain?
Factory dispatch files, bank statements and web shop orders are sent to the company's own Sky The Chain e-mail address and read automatically. Fuel card data is imported from the provider, so nobody retypes it.
Can records be changed after the fact?
No. Records are never edited or deleted; a correction is added as a new entry next to the original, so the history stays complete. Changes the system suggests wait for the owner's approval.
Who is Sky The Chain for?
Distributors that buy from a contract factory and sell through a team of field reps who carry stock, visit customers and collect payments.
What does a rep need?
An Android phone with the Sky The Chain app. The owner creates the rep's account and password; there is nothing for the rep to set up.
How much does it cost?
We quote per company. Write to us with how many reps you have and what they carry, and we will come back with a price.
Will my reps accept it?
Reps see the same records the owner sees about their own bag, so there is nothing hidden from them either. The app replaces notes and calls, works without signal, and shows them their stock and their assigned car. Most of what it records, they were already being asked for.
What happens when a rep leaves?
Their account is frozen, not deleted. Every box and every collection they handled stays on the record with their name, so the handover is a list, not a guess.
Do we have to change our accounting?
No. Sky The Chain tracks custody and collections. Your invoices and books stay in the system you use today.
Does it work on iPhone?
The rep app is Android today. The owner and the office use a web browser on any device.
Our trade is not in your list. Does it still fit?
The list is the trades the model was built for, not a limit. If your goods arrive boxed from a factory, your reps carry stock and sell on the visit, and your reps collect the payment, it fits. Write to us with what you sell and how it is sold.
Who owns the data?
You do. It is your company's record of your boxes and your money.
